## Summary

Cornwall Council is currently engaged in the planning stage of the procurement process for the "Live-in Care and Support Service in Cornwall". This initiative aims to explore potential providers who can offer a quality live-in care and support service within the health and social work sector. Interested parties should respond by 22nd June 2021, engaging through the Council's Due-North system. The procurement process will centre around providers registered with the Care Quality Commission, specifically those experienced in delivering 24-hour live-in care.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses within the health and social care industry, particularly those specialising in home care services. Companies that are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) or voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs) would be particularly well-suited to compete. By participating in this soft market engagement, prospective providers can position themselves effectively for future formal procurement opportunities, assisting Cornwall Council in developing a robust business solution for live-in care services.

## Notice

Cornwall Council (the Council) is conducting this soft market engagement to gain an understanding of the potential level of interest for the provision of a live-in care and support service in Cornwall. The soft market engagement is an information gathering exercise and it is intended that any responses to this soft market engagement will be used by the Council to develop a business proposal. Any such proposal would be subject to the development and approval of a business case, and, as such, this exercise implies no commercial commitment and is not a formal tender document. Participation in this soft market engagement will not prejudice providers participating in any future procurement for the services in this document or any other services. If you are interested in this area of service provision and helping with the Council's soft market engagement you are invited to: - register on the Council's Due-North system https://www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk and express an interest in this project. Complete the "Information Required" section of the soft market engagement document and return it to the Council using the Due North messaging service by the 22nd June 2021.
