HMP & YOI Bronzefield is a modern purpose built prison for women which opened in June 2004; it serves the court catchment area of Kent, Essex, Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Dorset & Isle of Wight and all London courts. HMP&YOI Bronzefield's operational capacity is 572 making it one of the largest women's prisons in Europe. Bidders must be aware that, although this procurement is undertaken in good faith, potential government policy changes could enact changes to prison healthcare provision.
