This Framework is designed to meet the needs of both YPO and Other Contracting Authorities by establishing an agreement where the end customer will place the order with the Provider and the Provider will deliver direct to the end customer. YPO requires the ability to trade volumes of gas from the framework award date which is anticipated to be at 8 months before the Framework start date of 1st April 2025. This will allow YPO to purchase the gas requirements on behalf of our customers prior to the Framework start date, in readiness for the start of the Framework. YPO requires the option to trade gas volumes beyond the Framework period and to 'sleeve' onto the next Framework agreement. YPO may also require the ability to 'sleeve' volume onto this Framework Agreement. These transactions will be completed free of charge and will be determined by the price of the gas secured through hedging activity.
