## Summary

The Health & Safety Executive has recently completed a tender for the provision of role players needed for legal proceedings training and assessment events for trainee health and safety inspectors. This service falls under the specialist training services sector and is aimed at delivering professional role-play input from April 15, 2019, to April 14, 2020. The procurement method utilised was an open procedure, allowing for broader competition, and concluded its application period on March 19, 2019. The total contract value is £25,078, and role players are expected to be available for multiple assessment sessions throughout the contract period.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in training services, particularly those with experience in role-playing for assessment or educational purposes. Companies offering services in theatrical arts, educational consultancy, or professional training, especially SMEs, would be well-positioned to compete for future contracts of this nature. By engaging with such tenders, businesses can not only expand their portfolio but also establish a relationship with a key public sector client focused on enhancing health and safety standards through effective training practices.
