The Operational areas require refurbishment to support a new layout and additional desks in both the Operations Room and a new Vessel Traffic Services area. In addition, the following works are also required to improve the overall resilience of the site: - Resilient power - Uninterruptable Power Supply to support all identified operational areas. - Electrical switchgear and Uninterruptable Power Supply Rooms - preventative works to protect from flooding, corrosion, and loss of power. - Exposed infrastructure - protection/replacement of exposed plant / assets. The Contractor will take on Design responsibility for the works, acting as Principal Designer and as the Principal Contractor - (Construction Design & Management Regulations 2015).
