Lifestyle tier 2 weight management programmes for overweight or obese adults are multi-component programmes that aim to reduce a person's energy intake and help them to be more physically active by facilitating behaviour change. Wellbeing & Public Health is seeking to purchase provision of a range of tier 2 weight management programmes across a range of providers that run up until March 2022 (or June 2022 by arrangement with Public Health England). There is no specific format for these to be delivered and it is envisaged that Providers will deliver a unique programme of support aligned to their core business and informed by points in Section 5 and documents in Appendix 1.
