## Summary

The Cleveland Fire Authority is currently in the planning stage for a tender titled "Catering Services - Training & Admin Hub," aimed at providing catering services for its Training & Administrative Hub located in Hartlepool, Cleveland. This procurement process is designed to engage suppliers in developing a specification for future catering provisions. Key milestones include a market engagement event scheduled for 25th February 2021, with the deadline for expressing interest by 29th January 2021 at 17:00. The industry category falls under cafeteria services (CPV code: 55330000) and related canteen services (CPV code: 55500000), which indicates a focus on delivering healthy and nutritious food options in a cost-effective manner.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in catering and food services, particularly those with experience in delivering high-quality food in institutional settings. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary community sector enterprises (VCSEs) are encouraged to participate. Companies that can demonstrate a commitment to food quality and safety, as well as flexibility in service delivery, would be well-positioned to compete for this contract. Engaging with the Cleveland Fire Authority through the pre-procurement market consultation could pave the way for potential future collaborations in delivering catering services that meet public sector standards.
