## Notice

Current capability at UKRI STFC's Rutherford Appleton Laboratory facility does not include any turn mill capability on a single machine. This capability is required to machine complex items quickly; increase project control by internally manufacturing components; and to reduce the dependence of external suppliers for time critical manufacturing. It also provides a platform for development of the staff towards modern methods of manufacture. Therefore UKRI STFC wish to procure a Universal Turning Centre with Driven Tooling. UK SBS currently manages PS700m expenditure for its Customers. From the 2nd April 2014 the Government is introducing its new Government Security Classifications (GSC) classification scheme to replace the current Government Protective Marking Scheme (GPMS). The final date and time for the submission of bids is 04/01/2019 at 1400hrs GMT.
