Therapy services would be provided daily for rehabilitation of physiotherapy and occupational therapy goals, other AHP services would be accessed as required and delivered by CLCH community services. The majority of patients requiring community rehabilitation are the frail elderly population who require additional support to recover and rehabilitate from illness or injury. Other patient cohorts will be accepted where their rehabilitation needs require a bedded facility which cannot be supported in the community with appropriate community rehabilitation services. The service is for patients in Merton, and so the unit must either be in Merton or within a one mile proximity of the borough border.
