## Summary

## Notice

We estimate the prison estate produces 282,307 litres of used cooking oil per annum. We are looking to procure a service for the collection and disposal of used cooking oil across all HMP sites. The supplier must be able to provide appropriate containers for a large scale of cooking oil to be stored on site until collected and disposed of on a regular basis. Due to the estimated value in income we expect to generate from this procurement, we believe it will fall under a concession contract meaning it will be governed under the Concession Contracts Regulations 2016. We are looking to hold an early market engagement event with interested suppliers on the 13th December 2023. We ask that any interested suppliers contact us by emailing Commercial-PrisonFacilitiesManagement@Justice.gov.uk inserting "National HMP's Used Cooking Oil Concession Contract market engagement expression of interest" as the subject title.
