All disabled children and young people with disabilities are children first and have the same rights as others in their peer group to be healthy, stay safe, enjoy and achieve, have access to economic well-being and able to make a positive contribution to their communities. The overarching aim of Cornwall Council is to promote and safeguard the welfare of disabled children and young people, and to work in co-production with them and their parents / carers to design and deliver quality services for disabled children and young people.
