The DPS will also be available for use by other boroughs in the West London Alliance (WLA). It is intended that the DPS would cover procurement of services for transporting vulnerable children and adults to a variety of schools, colleges and day centres. Safety and wellbeing of vulnerable people is a crucially important factor in the procurement of these services. Currently LBE spends circa PS7m per annum. Future use of the DPS cannot be specified at this stage, and volumes are not guaranteed.
