## Summary

The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames is conducting a soft market testing exercise for the "Shopmobility - Soft Market Testing" project, aimed at enhancing and innovating its in-house Shopmobility service operating from Eden Walk shopping centre. This is part of an effort to broaden social care impacts while pursuing a sustainable service delivery model. The planning stage of this procurement process is currently underway, with key engagement information available, including a deadline for submitting responses by 15:00 on 2nd June 2017. The total project value is estimated at £125,000, with delivery required in London, United Kingdom.

This tender presents a promising opportunity for businesses in the transportation and social care sectors, particularly those that specialise in innovative service delivery methods. Companies that can provide effective solutions for special-purpose road passenger-transport services and welfare services are encouraged to participate. Engaging in this market testing allows potential providers to inform the Council of their service delivery capabilities, paving the way for future partnerships that could lead to increased business growth and community impact.

## Notice

Kingston Council currently runs a basic Shopmobility service in-house, from the car park in Eden Walk shopping centre. It is looking to move provision of the service, and look at alternative modes of delivery to broaden the social care impact and offering, whilst moving to a more sustainable model. Some limited funding will be available from the Council, but there will be a need for the service to be provided in an innovative way, in order to cover costs. A new car park location will be offered to the provider, whilst the redevelopment of Eden Walk is taking place. The Council would like to understand from key providers how these requirements might best be met and is therefore carrying out a soft market testing exercise prior to any formal procurement taking place. Please review the attached Memorandum of Information and complete the questionnaire. Please submit the completed questionnaire via the portal by 15:00, Friday 2nd June 2017. https://procontract.due-north.com/Advert?advertId=ba043447-de30-e711-80e0-005056b64545
