BACKGROUND Silicon Spa, the games cluster in and around Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, is the third largest games cluster in the UK. It is estimated to employ at least 2,250 of the 9,000 people in the games industry. Despite the significance of the cluster, we lack a notable national profile for Silicon Spa. As such we have identified the need to hold a key event to promote and support the local games industry. The event has two objectives: 1. To increase the national profile of the Silicon Spa games cluster 2. To showcase Silicon Spa as a place to live, work, play and invest
