The term of the contract will be for a period of three years with an option to extend for a further twelve months subject to ongoing requirements, resources and performance. The Authority's requirements for this service span a variety of services including roadside support, supply and fitting of new and remoulded tyres and repair of tyres. In order to operate a seamless, coordinated approach to tyres and tyres services, the Authority is looking to appoint a single contractor to provide all elements of the service. Subcontracting is acceptable, but the bidding supplier will be responsible for ensuring smooth and effective delivery of the contract.
