Our library team support a student body of over 10,000 and 1,000 staff in all aspects of library and information provision across two sites with our main Paul Hamlyn Library at our Ealing site and a health library at our Reading site. Library Services is in the fourth year of our current strategic plan which runs until 2023. Centred within our strategy is developing inclusive, welcoming library services which reflect our University's mission of extending higher education to those traditionally excluded from it. Two principles are core to delivery of our plan: * A continuous improvement approach to service development, which alongside year-on-year improvements in customer service has seen us create key performance indicators based on new methodologies. * Main-streaming of user experience (UX) research, which forms an important basis for our qualitative understanding of our students' needs and expectations of a contemporary library service.
