## Summary

The N E L Commissioning Support Unit is planning a tender for the "Tower Hamlets Take Home and Settle Service" located in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. This service aims to provide essential support to patients aged 50 and over as they leave the hospital. The estimated annual contract value is £114,000, with a total projected value of £570,000 over five years. The service will commence on 1 October 2018, following a mobilisation period starting in July 2018. The deadline for tender submissions is set for 12noon on 29 May 2018, and the procurement method follows an open procedure, applicable for contracts below the threshold value.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses focused on health and social care services, particularly those offering practical support and assistance for older patients. Especially well-suited are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary and community sector enterprises (VCSEs) capable of delivering flexible and responsive support services. By engaging in this tender, organisations can expand their client base and contribute to enhancing patient care within the community, thus fostering growth in a vital sector.
