Manchester Metropolitan University (the University) is pleased to invite detailed expressions of interest for the provision of the design and construction of the Birley Student Residences - Plot E, including all substructures, superstructures, fixtures and fittings, mechanical and electrical services, drainage external works and external services" in accordance with this selection questionnaire (SQ). The estimated total construction value is PS27.5m (ex VAT). It is envisaged construction for the building will begin by no later than the end of June 2018 with the building being operational by no later than the end of June 2020. It is envisaged short listed candidates will be provided with the completed RIBA Stage 2+ report and will be responsible for developing and completing the design and construction of the entire facility. The project will be procured on a Design and Build Basis (shortlisted candidates) with a two-stage tender process.
