## Notice

East Sussex County Council ('the Council') is contracting for the administration and management of grant funding and capacity building support, targeting the most disadvantaged and marginalised communities across Hastings and Rother , and communities across East Sussex that wish to asset based approaches to building stronger communities. The Programmes are funded by NHS Hastings and Rother Clinical Commissioning Group; Public Health, ESCC; and Artswork (National youth arts development agency). This procurement covers the Hastings & Rother Reducing Health Inequalities Fund and Capacity Building Programme service, and the East Sussex Building Stronger Communities Small Grants Fund and Capacity Building Programme. (The overall contract value is for the administration and management element of the Programme and does not include any pass through grant funding). The Council ('the Council') intends to commission these services under a single contract. This Provider will be contractually responsible for all areas of service provision and performance, together with the performance of any partners or sub-contractors, throughout the term of the Contract. Hastings & Rother Reducing Health Inequalities Fund and Capacity Building Programme The programme will build the ability of voluntary and community sector organisations to address health inequalities in Hastings & Rother, by: o Encouraging and supporting people to make healthier lifestyle choices o Helping people look after their own health better o Improving access to local healthcare and/or other support services that will benefit health o Addressing the wider social determinants of health East Sussex Building Stronger Communities Small Grants Fund and Capacity Building Programme The Council is contracting for the administration and management of small grant funding and capacity building support to facilitate the development of asset based approaches to building stronger communities across East Sussex. The programme will fund and support activities that benefit the individual, group, and/or local area. Activities will follow the values and principles of asset based approaches for building stronger communities. There are four key activities that the programme will support: 1. Reframing towards assets 2. Recognising Assets 3. Mobilising Assets 4.
