There is also a small forensic mental health service that works within the Close Supervision Centre based at HMP Woodhill which will form part of this procurement. It is intended that this will be a three year contract with the option to extend for a further two years. NHS England is intending to commission a healthcare provider to carry out integrated healthcare services for HMP Woodhill. This Prior Information Notice is to inform potential bidders of a market engagement event to be held on the 9th June. NHS England is looking to carry out a procurement process for a 5 year contract for this service. The current budget is around PS6.5 million per annum, but this will reduce when HMP Woodhill changes to a Category B Prison.
