The contract may be extended if follow on funding for the same or similar purpose is secured by the Council during the period of the initial contract - this will be actively sought by Oxfordshire County Council but should not be assumed. Delivery of HUG2 will be across the four district council regions of Oxfordshire: Cherwell District, West Oxfordshire District, Vale of White Horse District and South Oxfordshire District. These represent the most rural regions of the county, where properties not on the mains-gas network, or otherwise not using mains-gas as their primary source of heating, will be plentiful.
