## Summary

The procurement process involves the Defra Network eTendering Portal seeking bids for the "IT Training Services Framework", classified under education and training services (CPV code 80000000). This process is currently at the procurement stage of 'Tender', with a submission deadline set for 17th February 2017. The contract is intended for various regions across the United Kingdom, including the North East, North West, and London, with an estimated value of £1,000,000 and a contract duration from 14th April 2017 to 13th April 2021. The procurement method follows a restricted procedure, requiring a Supplier Selection Stage before the issue of Invitations to Tender (ITTs).

This opportunity allows businesses specialising in IT training and education to expand their market reach, particularly those offering accredited training resources tailored for ICT professionals and end-users within governmental bodies. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are encouraged to apply, especially those with a track record of supporting public sector organisations. The tender's framework serves as a platform for businesses to establish long-term partnerships with the Environment Agency and potentially Defra, thereby fostering growth in the public sector training domain.
