Brief description: Fountain Court is a 16-bedded residential unit for people with dementia. The role includes providing leadership to a small team to provide person-centred care in order to meet the individual needs of the service users and ensure their safety and well-being. We are looking for someone with: o 2 years' experience in a role caring for the elderly, with a knowledge/understanding of dementia. o Experience in working as a team member with supervisory experience. o Experience of handling medication. o The ability to work with, and for, people from a range of backgrounds and cultural experience. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the needs of older people with dementia, effective communication skills and be able to produce clear and accurate records. Candidates are required to have Level 2 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent. Candidate must be over 21 years of age. This role requires evidence of an enhanced Adults Disclosure and Barring Check. Please could agencies send over a CV, 2x up to date references, Confirmation of DBS and qualification and a copy of Terms and Conditions. You will also need to include your agency on-cost details for each submission. Stated rates must be inclusive of all known costs. This role falls inside of IR35.
