What is our overall aim? London Borough of Lambeth are looking for local statutory, charity and/or voluntary groups to provide a quality service for people living with dementia and their carers. What would this service look like? An interactive and informative service for the local community with dementia and their carers to remain well and independent in their own communities for as long as possible by: * Encouraging socialisation by offering engaging activities and social events that will benefit people living with dementia to increase social inclusion and companionship. * Providing useful advice & relevant information associated with dementia * Partnering with local communities and other groups to deliver a dementia friendly service. * Providing quality respite support for carers * Offering and delivering a person-centered approach * Achieving a sense of belonging in a friendly community.
