## Summary

The Leicestershire County Council is seeking suppliers for the "Reactive Maintenance Framework: Mechanical 2019," aimed at providing reactive maintenance services primarily in the East Midlands and West Midlands regions of England. This procurement process, classified under repair and maintenance services, is currently in the tender stage, with the submission deadline set for 8th April 2019. The contract is expected to commence on 1st June 2019, lasting for 24 months, with the possibility of a 24-month extension based on performance. The total estimated value of the framework is £10 million, although the exact value will vary based on the client's needs and potential increased demand.

This opportunity presents significant potential for growth, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises as well as voluntary and community sector enterprises, which are encouraged to participate. The contract offers the chance to engage with various public sector customers, including schools, councils, and emergency services, thereby broadening market reach and fostering collaborative ventures within the public realm.

Call out to attend total loss of heating in building) to the Client's own properties and to properties of Customers. The Customer work is to generate income for the Client so that it may subsidise its public service commitments. The Client intends to appoint up to 4 (four) Suppliers to each lot of the Framework.
