## Summary

The London Borough of Ealing has recently completed a procurement process for the 'Tender for a 0-19 Healthy Child Programme Service', which includes Health Visiting, Family Nurse Partnership, and School Nursing services. This initiative aims to provide integrated support to improve the wellbeing of children and families within the Ealing area, with services being delivered from the postcodes including W5 2HL. The procurement method employed was selective, through a competitive procedure with negotiation, and the contract was awarded to Central London Community Healthcare, valued at £5,800,000 for a term starting from 1st October 2018 and ending on 30th September 2025, with an option to extend for an additional two years.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses in the health services sector, particularly those that offer integrated community health programmes or have expertise in early intervention services. Companies that specialise in providing family health services, community health support, or educational health services would be particularly well-suited to engage with such programmes. By participating in similar contracts, businesses can contribute to improving health outcomes while potentially gaining a foothold in the public sector, facilitating growth and increased visibility in the industry.

## Notice

Ealing Council wishes to commission a single provider to deliver an Integrated 0 -19 Healthy Child Programme Service encompassing Health Visiting, Family Nurse Partnership and School Nursing, and targeted support with a range of health interventions for children and young people as a part of it's Brighter Future Offer. Ealing Council's vision for Brighter Futures is to protect and promote the wellbeing of children, young people and their families, to reduce inequalities and to improve a range of population health and wellbeing outcomes. These services are currently commissioned separately by the Council's Public Health Team and the Council's Children's Services Commissioning Team. By integrating commissioning a redesign of the existing services aims to create a more integrated offer to families, there is also a significant opportunity to make services easier to access, reduce duplication and provide a better offer to children and families. By promoting early intervention, there is also scope to reduce demand on children's health and social care services. Contract will be awarded for a 5 year term with an option for further 2 years extension subject to agreement.
