## Summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking qualified framework providers for its Minor Works Framework: Construction 2024. The procurement invites firms to engage in building, extension, refurbishment, adaptation, and associated works for the Council's properties and other customers to generate additional income, thus subsidising its public services. The framework, split into two lots, covers contracts up to £2.5 million and spans several geographic regions including the East and West Midlands, Home Counties, East Anglia, South West England, and Yorkshire and The Humber. This tender is in the "Tender" stage, with an end date for the tender period on 25 November 2024, and contract commencement set for 22 April 2025.

This framework presents substantial growth opportunities for businesses specialising in construction, particularly those capable of handling varying project scopes, from minor works to larger, more complex undertakings. Companies within the SME sector are especially encouraged to apply. The work encompasses educational, commercial, health, and public sector buildings, making it suitable for firms with diverse construction expertise. Engaging in this framework can lead to long-term partnerships and a steady workflow given the extensive list of eligible contracting bodies, including local authorities, schools, and charities.
