The proposed 1 to 1.5 mega-Watt (MW) Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) electrolyser will be installed on-site and used to produce green hydrogen, from a potable water feed and will be powered by the co-located solar farm - producing a carbon free fuel and energy storage opportunity that can be used to help decarbonise a number of downstream applications. Within this project, the green hydrogen will be produced, compressed and filled into hydrogen trailers. This hydrogen is anticipated to be transported off-site for a variety of applications, however, neither of these distribution/use scenarios are included within this Tender. This tender covers the delivery of hydrogen production, compression and trailer filling system which is required as soon as possible.
