The appointed organisations will furnish temporary accommodation with floor coverings, window coverings and a cooker, amongst other household items to be provided as and when required. Items provided will need to be maintained for a minimum of 24 months, irrespective of whether or not the item is still under warranty. A cleaning and maintenance service is required for items supplied in order to minimise the cost of replacing items which are still serviceable and have a minimum of 12 months life remaining. The Council's intention is to appoint up to three highest-scoring organisations onto this framework. Call-offs from this framework will be on a rotational basis. The Framework will be open for other local authorities to use.
