## Summary

The public procurement process involves Magnox Ltd, a contracting authority based in Bristol, United Kingdom. They are planning a tender titled "Land Quality Services 2024+ PIN" in the services category, with an estimated value of £20,000,000. The procurement stage is currently in the planning phase, with a contract period starting on April 17, 2023, and ending on May 10, 2023. The tender aims to establish a framework for the provision of land quality services across multiple sites in the decommissioning phase, requiring services such as groundwater monitoring, site investigation, and remediation.

This tender by Magnox Ltd presents opportunities for businesses in the environmental services sector, particularly those experienced in groundwater pollution monitoring, ground investigation work, and environmental impact assessment services. Suppliers interested in delivering routine monitoring, characterisation, and remediation services related to land quality are well-suited to compete. The open procurement method provides a chance for suppliers to engage with Magnox and potentially secure contracts for the provision of specialised services that support the decommissioning strategy of former nuclear sites in the UK.

The scope comprises all phases of LQ management from desk-based investigation through to the implementation and verification of LQ remedial work. Services typically required include the production of conceptual site models, risk assessment (all phases), intrusive site investigations conducted for LQ characterisation purposes and associated groundwater and soil sampling and analysis.
