The MCA seeks innovative solutions that adhere to the established standards and offer operational support, thus enabling bidders to contribute to enhancing public services in the UK. ## Notice As part of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) contract pipeline requirements, the MCA will be looking to tender a requirement for Maritime, Aeronautical and Search Planning capability (as detailed below). The MCA will holding an Early Market Engagement day via Microsoft TEAMS. This event is open to all interested suppliers and will be held on the 6th October 2020 at 14:00. This event will inform both the market of our future contract requirements and will assist MCA by informing our business case process of market interest. Suppliers who are interested in attending this event should email Contracts@mcga.gov.uk to express an interest. MCA will then provide a invitation to the event. Further details on what the MCA would be looking for are detailed below. * Provision of a system or systems providing; Maritime, Aeronautical and search planning capability. * Provision of a system providing land search planning capabilities * Provision of suitable software to enable an operator to create a Search Area Determination (SAD) and to develop a plan to allocate resources Search Area Coverage (SAC) inline with IAMSAR (Maritime and Aeronautical) and HMCG policy (Land Search). Land search HMCG policy can be provided prior to suppliers day. * Provision of standard IAMSAR standard and partial modelling models (Maritime). * Provision of an ability to share and view SAD / SAC models within and out with the secure HMCG "Blue light" network. * Provision of an Environmental data service which should include management of the various sources of data to enable the provision of Hydrographic and Environmental data for the UK Search and Rescue Region (SRR) to the SAR planning software. * Provision of an agreed frequency of software upgrades and updates to ensure that HMCG is employing the most up to date processes for SAR planning in line with IAMSAR changes. * Provision of full training on the use of the software to an initial cohort.
