There are approximately 92,000 properties which will have a minimum of 240ltr wheelie bin, with 3,500 properties being services with a clear plastic sack (28 micron) which will need to be incorporated into the material stream. Solihull MBC is seeking proposals which will cover the following collection options: o Fully comingled collections o Twin stream collections - glass collected separately from other dry mixed recycling o All material direct delivered to the processing facility o All material bulked and transferred to the processing facility o Proportion direct delivered and proportion bulked and transferred Solihull MBC through this process will be selecting a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) provider including transportation for a Contract Term of 1.5 years, with extension options for a further 4 years.
