## Summary

The tender titled "636_21 Vehicle Charging Infrastructure 2 (VCI 2)" is issued by Espo, focusing on developing ultra-low and zero-emission vehicle charging infrastructure in the United Kingdom. This procurement falls under the open procedure category and offers a total estimated value of £1 billion. The tender period ends on 28 June 2021, while the contract period is set to commence from 9 August 2021 and run until 8 August 2023, with a potential extension of up to 24 months. The framework agreement is intended for public bodies, including local authorities, central government departments, and registered charities across all UK regions, ensuring a wide array of potential users.

This procurement provides significant opportunities for growth, particularly for businesses engaged in the electric vehicle charging sector, consultancy, and related technologies. Companies that specialise in installation services, maintenance of charging points, software development, and emerging energy technologies, such as battery storage and vehicle-to-grid solutions, would be particularly well-suited to compete. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are encouraged to participate, allowing them to establish significant contracts within the lucrative green technology market.
