Smoking is the most significant preventable cause of ill health, premature death, and health inequalities in Bolton. Supporting a smoker to quit is one of the most effective ways any healthcare professional can help improve a person's health and therefore the Authority seeks to procure pharmacies to provide smoking cessation services. A Dynamic Purchasing System is, in effect, an open Purchasing System to which new providers can apply to be appointed to during its life. During this period new providers will be able to gain entry onto the Dynamic Purchasing System. During this period, the Dynamic Purchasing System will remain open during the term of the Purchasing System; new providers will be able to gain entry onto the Dynamic Purchasing System.
