## Summary

## Notice

It provides a chance to engage in new interactions in an open and non-judgemental environment. Emotional issues are often displayed in the young person's interactions with the horses. This allows the therapist a unique insight into a client's individual difficulties. The intervention also takes place outdoors providing people with the chance to experience a rural environment. For children and young people who have experienced severe family difficulties or deprivation, this can be a very rewarding and stimulating therapeutic intervention
