Funeral Service provision is required for patients who die but: a) have no next of kin; b) relatives cannot be traced; c) relatives cannot afford to pay or are unwilling to take responsibility; d) babies under 24 weeks gestation e) Still borne baby's and infants f) Adults The Trust wishes the successful contractor to provide a highly professional, quality, compassionate, sensitive service for the deceased patients, ensuring that the final arrangements for them are provided in a dignified manner whether or not mourners are in attendance. Additional information: The Contracting Authority intends to use an eTendering system in this procurement exercise and reserves the right to use a reverse auction.
