Purpose of the invitation to tender Falmouth University wishes to engage the services of a consultant to provide technical art and programming support for the Launchpad programme, with specific reference to the games project teams. In specific: 1. To work in the Launchpad studio for 2 days a week to provide support in the delivery of a range of complex games projects. 2. To assist the Launchpad students with the development of design, programming or art skills - to have good communication and people skills, in order to train and mentor others. 3. To act as a bridge between the artists and programmers on the games teams. 4. To provide support with game engine development, demonstrating prior experience with Unity or Unreal. 5. To provide programming support for the game development. 6. To provide technical 3D modelling, art and VFX support for the game development. 7. To provide UI/UX support for the game development. 8. To be able to work well as part of a team with a minimum of supervision. 9. To have demonstrable experience with at least one published game title.
