## Notice

Devon County Council's Digital & Technology Service have awarded a contract to refresh and modernise the existing Corporate Backup Infrastructure with a comprehensive, secure, and scalable solution to protect both On Premise and Microsoft Office 365 workloads. The solution will protect data against the increased Cyber Threat with features including Immutability, Air Gapping, Zero Trust Security and the ability to identify and quickly recover from a ransomware attack. The key objectives: * A solution to protect all on premise workloads * Expansion of our Data Protection footprint to include our Microsoft 365 public cloud estate * A scalable solution that can flex up and down to meet capacity requirements. * Provides the additional Data Protection features of Air Gapping and Immutability to enhance the protection of the authority's full suite of Data Backups. * Conforms to the NCSC 3-2-1 guidance * Applies a Zero Trust Security approach * Includes the capability to ensure recovery can be achieved at the quickest possible safe pace through the Indexing of the protected data. * Offers monitoring software to enhance detection & recovery, including the ability to identify a 'Last Known Good' backup that can be safely used without re-introducing weaknesses that allowed the attack to take place. * Flexible licensing to accommodate our hybrid status and future cloud adoption * Any contract awarded as a result of the procurement process will be for a solution that meets the key objectives detailed in the specification, and includes implementation services, training options, and a premium support service. Value for the initial 3- year contract term.
