## Summary

The Metropolitan Police Service is conducting a public procurement process for the provision of boarding and kennelling services for seized dogs under the title "THE PROVISION OF BOARDING SERVICES FOR SEIZED DOGS". This procurement falls within the dog kennel services industry category and is located in London, UK. Currently in the tender stage, the call for bids will close on 16th March 2020 at 23:59:59. The estimated value of the contract ranges between £2,680,000 and £5,360,000, with services required to be available 24/7 throughout the year.

This contract presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in animal care, kennel services, and veterinary provision. Companies that can demonstrate the capability to manage a high turnover of animals, including those with specific behavioural challenges, will be particularly well-suited to compete. The 24-hour operational requirement, as well as the need for compliance with welfare standards, will favour experienced providers and those with existing resources to fulfil these needs effectively. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary sector organisations (VCSEs) are encouraged to participate, enhancing their potential for growth in the public sector market.
