The new contract will commence on 1st January 2022 until 31st December 2023 (No extension). The new service will be delivered under an NHS England Personal Dental Service (PDS) Agreement for Orthodontic Patients in Active Treatment. There will be no more than 45 cases in Active Treatment and no fewer than 38 cases in Supervised Retention. There will be a payment of PS662 for a patient in Active Treatment and a payment of PS25 for a patient in Supervised Retention, in line with the National Tariff. The current Provider will continue to see their patient base for the remainder of the contract which will affect the contract value at the point of commencement.
