## Summary

The "Low Value Construction Services Framework" tender, issued by Cheshire East Borough Council, is currently at the Award stage, having been published on 30th July 2020. This initiative falls within the construction industry and encompasses works valued at approximately £16.5 million, set to span a contract period from 1st June 2021 to 31st May 2024. The framework consists of three lots for construction and demolition services, with delivery required throughout the region of England. Interested suppliers needed to register with Constructionline to participate, with a tender period that concluded on 15th September 2020.

This procurement presents significant opportunities for construction firms, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) that can handle projects ranging from minor construction works up to £1 million. The successful tenderers will be tasked with a variety of works, predominantly in public facilities like schools and community centres, allowing for business expansion and the establishment of long-term partnerships with the council and associated entities. Companies experienced in refurbishment, new builds, and demolition projects will be well-positioned to submit competitive bids.
