## Summary

The procurement process involves the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, focusing on the "Mexico Programme - Energy Services" tender, which aims to enhance productivity and reduce poverty within the energy sector in Mexico. Classified under research and development services and related consultancy services (CPV 73000000), this selective procurement uses a call-off from a framework agreement. The tender period has concluded, with the contract scheduled to run from 17 January 2019 to 31 March 2023. The procurement value is set at £24,238,901, addressing multiple regions including the United Kingdom and British Overseas Territories.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses within the energy services sector, particularly those with capabilities in consultancy, research, and development related to energy. Companies aiming to engage in capacity building and support sustainable development goals, especially relating to fair employment and clean energy innovation, would be well-suited to participate. The focus on addressing market failures in Mexico presents avenues for large-scale firms looking to expand their operations internationally, potentially benefiting from stable energy market consolidation and the promotion of affordable energy services.
