The programme supports countries to strengthen marine science expertise, develop science-based policy and management tools, and create educational resources for coastal communities. Bilateral partnerships under the OCPP are primarily delivered by the Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science (Cefas), the Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC) and the Marine Management Organisation (MMO) on behalf of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra). This Contract will be awarded by Cefas as the Contracting Authority, with both JNCC and the MMO included as Authorised Users with access to the Contract as per the Conditions of Contract. Cefas require the Supplier to provide interpretation and translation services to support the delivery of OCPP in Mozambique, across a variety of formats including engagement events, meetings and workshops in-person in Mozambique, and online/ hybrid, as well as potentially written requirements. Cefas, and JNCC and MMO (the Authorised Users) have a number of anticipated requirements throughout the duration of the Contract but the details of these are not yet confirmed. Requirements will be agreed between the Supplier and Cefas, JNCC or MMO (as appropriate) prior to commencement of any work.
