Engagements are generally restricted to the Wigan area and those that fall within Greater Manchester although on occasions the Mayor is expected to attend an event further afield. There will also be occasions when it will be necessary to supply two executive style cars with experienced professional chauffeurs / attendants for use when the Deputy Mayor is also required to be on duty. The chauffeur / attendant will also be expected to carry out a range of duties and responsibilities at Mayoral engagements and functions.
