The nursery has always had a good reputation and has regularly had a waiting list for places. The only Ofsted inspection of the nursery resulted in a judgement of 'Outstanding'. More recently however, the school have found it increasingly difficult to manage the nursery financially and to recruit a new nursery manager. The school itself has other pressures to address and hence the Governing Body made a decision to ask the local authority to go out to tender to find an alternative provider to run the nursery. The school are committed to a positive working relationship with the new provider. Contract term is 5 years + optional 5 year extension.
