The Trust has awarded a contract following the completion of a mini competition exercise carried out in acordance with the Procure Partnership National Contractor FrameworkLot 85 Demolition and Site Preparation. The purpose of this procurement is the complete demolition of the existing Women and Children building currently situated on the hospital estate. This includes but not limited to the demolition of all internal walls and MEP services, demolition of existing superstructure, demolition of basement structure, levelling of ground area and back filling the basement structure area once removed. All asbestos removal will be carried out prior to demolition and will not form part of this contract.
