The provision of temporary accommodation will be provided through a private sector leasing (PSL) scheme. It is proposed that there will be both a block contract agreement (Lot 1) and a framework contract (Lot 2) established for the provision of this accommodation through this procurement. There are two requirements. The first is for a prescribed number of leased, furnished properties required for the life of the contract. These are purchased under a Block contract arrangement. The second provides additional capacity of furnished accommodation purchased on an ad hoc basis subject to demand through a framework agreement. In total the Council requires approximately 1050 properties though this contract. BCC will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
