Through developing the understanding and awareness staff will be able to: * recognise how individuals with LD communicate discomfort /concerns and making appropriate referrals for investigation * detect symptoms /conditions that may need further investigation * Support people with Learning Disabilities to improve their wellbeing and quality of life * contribute to reducing early mortality for people with Learning Disabilities
