Cheshire & Merseyside is one of the largest and most complex Integrated Care Systems in England. Cheshire & Merseyside has a population of 2.7 million people and comprises 9 Local Authorities, 17 NHS Providers and 375 GP practices. As a region we have a combined direct spend on adult social services of PS1.2B, and a direct care workforce of 76,600. Our focus as a collaborative will always be on improving life for everyone, their family and the community and place in which they live. However, when it makes sense, it is right for us to do so and it will add value, we will work together to: 1. Enable individuals to support their own wellbeing; and where additional support is needed, offer personalised care that improves outcomes for individuals, families and carers. 2.
