## Summary

The NHS Anglia Commissioning Support Unit is currently in the planning stage of a public procurement process for "Community Scanning Services - Ultrasound and MRI" within the health services category. This initiative is focused on providing community MRI and ultrasound scanning services to patients across the Norfolk and Waveney region. The engagement period ends on 23rd February 2018, at 23:59, when interested providers must submit their responses to the Request for Information (RFI) to indicate their interest and outline how they could support this service. The estimated contract value is £1,000,000, and submissions should be returned to the contact point, James Savill, via the provided email before the deadline.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses in the healthcare services sector, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) that specialise in imaging services. Companies that engage in the delivery of health-related services or have expertise in MRI and ultrasound technologies would be particularly well-suited to compete. This early market engagement invites organisations to help shape the future service provision and potentially participate in the competitive re-commissioning process once the initial RFI responses are evaluated.

## Notice

Community MRI and ultrasound scanning services for patients across Norfolk and Waveney. The service is required across the 5 Clinical Commissioning Groups covering Norfolk and Waveney. Additional information: Norfolk CCGs are considering re-commissioning of community MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) and ultrasound scanning services. We are engaging with the market to understand the interest of providers in this service and the way the service could be provided. Our initial approach to this market engagement is via a request for information where there in an outline specification and budget and a series of questions we would like answering in the Request for Information (RFI) document which is available from https://procontract.due-north.com/Login We require the RFI document from interested providers to be returned by 3pm on Friday 23rd February. There may be subsequent market engagement once responses to the RFI have been considered. The Commissioners reserve the right not to engage further following the closure of the initial RFI, or if undertaking a competitive re-commissioning exercise to only approach the providers who express an interest and respond to this notice to participate. We would like to invite any organisations who want to help us shape the future service provision, or who might have an interest in tendering for services to respond to the RFI documentation. The estimated contract value is PS1,000,000.
